Bingo Patterns
If you are a bingo fanatic, you should be aware of the different winning patterns in the game of bingo. There are many different patterns, and with each game there is a specific pattern to cover. Bingo pattern are sometimes horizontal, vertical etc... Sometimes patterns look the same, so you must be vigilant in observing the correct pattern.
Three main kinds of bingo patterns:
1) The Standard, or Static, bingo pattern - these kinds of bingo patterns cannot be shifted or moved on the card, and it is only won with if every square of the given pattern is highlighted, or covered.
2) Crazy bingo pattern - the pattern on these kinds of bingo games can be rotated either by 90 degrees, 180 degrees, or 270 degrees.
3) Wild bingo pattern - these have isolated patterns, yet the pattern remains in the same place, like a standard or static, but it can also be located anywhere on your bingo card.
Specific bingo pattern:
1) Straight
This is the simplest pattern of all, this has 5 squares forming a straight line, it can be either in a vertical, horizontal or diagonal position.
2) Coverall or Blackout
Players should cover all the squares on their bingo card in order to win.
3) B and O only
Players should cover the squares under the letters "B" and "O", only, to win the game.
4) Barbell
Players should complete 3 squares vertically in both letters under the "B" and "0" column; this has a straight line between these letters, at the center of the card.
5) Four Corners
This pattern is simple to recognize by its name alone; just simply mark the four corners of your bingo card to win.
6) Frame Outside
Players should mark the circumference numbers of the card entirely to form a frame pattern.
7) Letter C
This pattern should look like the letter "C" on your card. These are the top row, bottom row, and the left vertical row under the letter "B", all marked.
8) Letter L
Just the same with the Letter "C" pattern, players need to mark their card like a letter "L". These numbers are under the letter B, vertically, and the bottom row, horizontally.
9) Letter T
This forms the letter "T"; players should cover the top row entirely and the numbers under the center row letter "N", until all are marked.
10) Pyramid
The middle square which is the free square is marked, as well as 8 other squares, in a way that the players have covered a triangular-shaped pattern.
